1. General Overview
Welcome to A Star Cooling. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By engaging with A Star Cooling for any installation, maintenance, or repair services, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
2. Services & Quotations
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. While we strive to ensure our initial surveys cover all necessary work, any unforeseen complications discovered during installation that require additional labour or materials will be discussed with you before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit may be required prior to the commencement of installation work to secure materials. The remaining balance is strictly due upon completion of the agreed work. We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards. Late payments may incur additional charges.
4. Warranties & Guarantees
A Star Cooling provides a workmanship guarantee on all installations. Manufacturer warranties on air conditioning units and heat pumps vary by brand (typically 3 to 7 years) and are subject to the manufacturer's terms, which usually require evidence of annual maintenance by an F-Gas certified engineer.
5. Liability
We are fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity cover. While we take the utmost care during installations, we are not liable for pre-existing structural issues or incidental cosmetic damage (such as minor plaster flaking) that may occur during standard installation procedures.
6. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an installation, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less notice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit or a cancellation fee.
